Statesville Roofing & Building Restoration is a family-owned commercial and industrial roofing and building restoration contractor founded in 1938 and headquartered at 325 Mayo Street in Statesville, North Carolina. The company operates a dedicated service department (since 1989) and a building restoration division (since 2003), and holds Firestone Master Contractor recognition and an A+ BBB rating.
Who we are
We started in 1938 as a Statesville roofing company serving the mills, warehouses and Main Street buildings of Iredell County. The mills changed. The standard did not. Today our crews install and maintain roofs for manufacturers, hospitals, universities, property management portfolios and secure corporate facilities across North Carolina and the Southeast.
We are still family-owned, still headquartered on Mayo Street, and still answer the phone with a person who knows your building.
Why a roofer does restoration
In the 1990s our service department kept getting called for "roof leaks" that were not roof leaks. Water was coming in at failed sealant joints, deteriorated mortar, and unflashed penetrations in walls. Rather than send owners to a second contractor, we built the expertise in-house. The restoration division launched in 2003 and now handles masonry, sealants, waterproofing, concrete and parking decks with the same forensic approach we bring to roofs.
What we believe
- The data decides. Moisture surveys and core cuts, not sales targets, determine whether we recommend repair, restoration or replacement.
- Everything in writing. Inspections, proposals and completed work are documented with photos so owners have a record for warranties and capital planning.
- Operations come first. Hospitals, production floors and high-security tenants cannot stop for a roofer. We phase and schedule around them.
- Be here in 20 years. A 20-year warranty means nothing if the contractor is gone. We have been here since 1938.

Statesville Roofing & Building Restoration has maintained and repaired the roofs of our manufacturing and research facilities for the past six years. They are currently in progress with a 59,000-square-foot roof replacement project over a vital production area. This particular roof section had experienced numerous leaks over the years, placing production at risk. We are now watertight.
